The songrwriter Harry Chapin had a grandfather. And his name was Kenneth Burke.
        Grandpa wrote “One light in a dark valley”
                for CHAPIN’S LP DANCE BAND ON THE TITANIC
MADE MORE JACK WITH IT THAN HE DID WITH ALL HIS BOOKS.

       
Burke is considered by some observers to be America’s Derrida. That’s weird: Burke was emphatic with italics, not nihilism.
